Meet Karen Swanson, RN, BS, MSN, Office Manager

Karen has been involved in ophthalmic nursing since 1986. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of the office and surgical care of patients. She is a highly competent nurse and quality professional who also has extensive experience in organizational Performance Improvement, Risk Management and Patient Safety. She is extremely caring and interested in all patients who enter the practice.

Personal Information

Karen enjoys raising Bonsai trees, gardening, and playing the flute. She is active in Friends of Orange County Homeless Pets (a dog and cat animal rescue), and loves all animals. She mentors high school students who are examining careers in the health care industry. She hopes to inspire excellence in the next generation of health care professionals.
